The Scriptures

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God. It is infallible and complete. The Bible is our supreme authority for faith and practice. (2 Tim 3:16-17; 2 Pet. 1:20-21; Hebrews 4:12)

The Godhead

We believe that there is one God, who is all-knowing, all-powerful, omnipresent, and timeless. He is the maker and ruler of all things. He is eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Gen. 1:1; John 10:30, 10:37- 38, 1:1-3; Psalm 139:1-18; Col. 1:16)

The Person And Work of Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God. He came into this world from heaven, to manifest God to man, fulfilling prophecy, and is the only Redeemer for lost humanity. He was born of a virgin and received a human body. (Luke 1:30-35; John 1:18, 3:16; Isaiah 7:14; Matt. 1:23)

We believe that, although He was tempted He remained sinless throughout His life; however, He retained His absolute Deity, being at the same time fully God and fully man. (Luke 2:40; John 1:1-2; Phil. 2:5-8; Hebrews 4:15)

We believe that, in His infinite love for the lost, He voluntarily accepted His Father's will and became the divinely provided sacrificial Lamb. He bore the holy judgments against sin that the righteousness of God must impose. He died to purchase our redemption and thus to fulfill God's plan for sinful man. (John 1:29; Isa. 53:5-7; Rom. 3:24-25; Hebrews 10:11-14)

We believe that He died on a cross, was buried, and on the third day He arose from the dead. He ascended back to heaven and He is on the right hand of the Father. He will return in power and glory and His kingdom will have no end. (Matt. 28:1-10; Mark 16:1-6; Acts 1:9-11; Heb. 1:3, 8:1; Hebrews 9:27-28; 2 Cor. 5-14; John 14:2-3; Isaiah 9:7-8)

The Person And Work of The Holy Spirit

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. (John 14:15-17, 14:26, 16:7-15; Ephesians 1:13-14, 4:30, 5:18; 1 Cor. 3:16, 6:19, 20)

The Depravity of Man

We believe that man was originally, directly, and immediately created in the image and in the likeness of God. But, as a result of Adam's sin, man inherited a sinful nature and this has been passed down to the entire human race. Therefore, all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Apart from divine grace man is spiritually dead. (Gen. 1:26, 2:17, 3:1-6, 6:5; Psalm 51:5; Jer. 17:9; Rom. 3:10, 3:23, 5:12, 19; 1 John 3:8)

Salvation

We believe that salvation is a free gift offered to man by God. Its basis is the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. Man receives this free gift of eternal life by realizing his sinful condition, repenting, believing that Jesus Christ died for his sins, and then receiving him as his own personal Lord and Savior. Man in no way can ever work his own way to heaven. Salvation is based solely on the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary, by the grace of God. (John 3:16, 5:24; Acts 13:39, 16:31; Rom. 3:24&25, 10:9-10; 2 Cor. 5:21; Eph.2:8-9)

The Resurrection of The Saved and The Unsaved

We believe in the bodily resurrection of all men, the saved to eternal life and the unsaved to judgment and everlasting punishment. (Matt. 25:46; John 5:28-29, 11:25-26; Acts 24:15; Rev. 20:5-6, 11-15)

Relationships and Fellowship

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ and that being actively involved in a Bible-believing church is very important in providing support, fellowship, encouragement, and instruction to believers. (Romans 8:9; 1 Cor. 12:12, 13; Gal. 3:26, 28; Philippians 2:1-4; Hebrews 10:24-25; Matthew 18:19-20)

We believe that the family was established by God and is primarily responsible for the training of the children within the home. (Gen. 2:21-25; Job 1:1-5; Eph. 6:1-4; Col. 3:18-21)

Practice of Faith and Christian Servanthood

We believe that faith should manifest itself in the service of love as set forth in the example and teachings of Jesus Christ. (Mathew 22:36-40)

We believe that Christians should be doers of the word and that the fruits of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control) should be evident in their lives. Although works will not save man, we do believe that man receives life for the purpose of doing good works. (Ephesians 2:10; Gal. 5:22-26; James 1:22-24; 2:18-24; Mark 7:6-15)
