Homecoming at WKA is a special time when we get to see many of our alumni and their families. The excitement of a good football game, the crowning of a new Homecoming Queen, and the dance after the game make for a special night for the entire King Family!
Homecoming 2009 was September 25th. Even though there was a light rain at times and the game was delayed 10 minutes due to lightning, WKAs 2009 homecoming was a great success. The Knights defeated Richard Winn 44-12 in an important region game, a new Homecoming Queen was crowned at half-time, and a good group enjoyed the Homecoming Dance following the game. At half time Mae-Ann Webb was crowned the 2009 Homecoming Queen. Nicole Brown was named the Maid of Honor. |
